Back by popular demand, the Oswestry School Poetry Evening and Open Mic night takes place on Thursday, June 19th from 7pm.
Following the success of last year's first ever Poetry Evening at Oswestry School, this event promises to be another magical evening celebrating the power of poetry in all its forms and rhythms.
Join us to hear poems written by our pupils, staff and guests as we celebrate the works of Tove Jansson, creator of the Moomins and who also celebrated love, family and nature through her novels.
If you feel inspired by what you hear, feel free to regale us with your favouite poem, or even a poem you have penned yourself in the open mic section of the evening.
Doors open from 6.30pm. Entry is free, but please do register to ensure we have enough seats.
Refreshments available.
