After leaving school the brothers headed to Bedstone College and were visiting that school to celebrate the 75th year of its founding when they decided to travel a little further north back to where it all began, Bellan House.
It was very confusing for Umesh and Roop to be sent to another country for their education. At such a tyoung age they couldn't understand why their parents had sent them away. It was not until later that they understood and valued the education their family had invested in for them.
Both boys remember Headmistress Miss Smith, and teachers Miss Griffiths, Miss Abrahams and Miss Thomas. Umesh struggled with asthma and would spend much time in Sick Bay, and both boys would stay in the main building over Christmas holidays when they couldn't return to Nigeria.
As Umesh and Roop walked around the Bellan House building, the memories came flooding back. They particularly loved looking at the whole school photographs to find themselves and friends.
