During his time at Oswestry Curtis represented the School's 1st XI 51 times scoring 21 goals playing down the left wing, and gained 6 man of the match awards. He also went on trial for Swansea City's U23 side and represented Oswestry Town football club.
On leaving school, Curtis signed a professional contract at Eastern Lions playing in the Hong Kong premier league before transferring to Cova Pieade in the Liga Dos. Curtis now plays football for MZ Hakka who compete in the Chinese super league where he has 44 appearances, 3 goals and 4 assists from right back.
Curtis is currently representing Hong Kong In the Asia Cup where, in the group, they face off with the UAE, Palestine, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
