Running in support of Hope House & Ty Gobaith, Howard is determined to make every step count for an incredible cause close to his heart.
Howard first took on the challenge of a marathon back in 2022, running in the London Marathon for a local charity. What was meant to be a “once-in-a-lifetime” experience quickly turned into a passion, and when the opportunity arose to run through the stunning streets of Milan, he couldn’t resist.
"Hope House is an incredible charity based in my hometown of Oswestry," says Howard. "We have supported them many times over the past decade, and I am thrilled to be fundraising for them once again. They provide essential care and support to children with life-threatening conditions and their families. Every donation truly makes a difference."
Hope House & Ty Gobaith are dedicated to providing specialist nursing care and emotional support for children and families going through unimaginably difficult times. Their work ensures that every child receives the best possible care and that families have the guidance and support they need.
By donating, you are helping to fund crucial services, from respite care to bereavement support, ensuring that families facing the toughest challenges do not have to do it alone.
Howard has set an ambitious fundraising target, and every contribution brings him closer to his goal. If you would like to support him on this incredible journey, please consider donating via his JustGiving page:

No donation is too small—every penny counts towards making a real impact. Whether it’s £5, £20, or more, your generosity will directly benefit Hope House & Ty Gobaith and the families they support.
Running a marathon is no small feat, and knowing he has the backing of friends, family, and the community will make all the difference. Show your support by sharing his JustGiving page, leaving messages of encouragement, and following his journey as he prepares for race day in April 2025.
Let’s help Howard make this marathon truly life-changing—not just for himself, but for the children and families who rely on Hope House & Ty Gobaith.
