Having been selected from the first round of video entries to compete in the semi finals on Tuesday 17 September, 2024, they won through into the finals the following evening.

It was a fantastic night of music from eight incredibly talented young musicians. Kizzy performed a programme of five songs from Handel, Amy Beach, Richard Strauss, Elizabeth Maconchy and Mozart. Their beautiful voice rang out in the excellent acoustic of St Asaph Cathedral, wowwing the audience. The four adjudicators all gave glowing comments but a wonderful harpist eventually claimed the £2000 prize.

Kizzy is just starting their fourth and final year of the BMus (Voice) degree at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff.
