On Wednesday, 14th May, I successfully defended my PhD thesis in my final viva. After three and a half years of dedicated research, writing, and navigating the demands of academic buearcracy, I am proud to have completed my doctorate with excellent results.

I am especially grateful to all those who supported me throughout this journey—mentors, peers, friends, and family—whose encouragement made this achievement possible.

I was also pleased to complete the PhD by the age of 28, which is slightly earlier than average.

Looking ahead, I aim to continue my work in anthropology by mapping and engaging with sacred landscapes, further investigating the nature of consciousness, and contributing to deeper understandings of the human experience.
