1970's OOs

At the begining of term we were delighted to welcome back David, an Old Oswestrian who returned to the School for the first time in over 50 years. David, who joined as a Forces pupil and boarded in Holbache House under the care of P.S. Jones, spent the day reminiscing and sharing a wealth of interesting – and often very funny – stories from his time at Oswestry. It was wonderful to see how vividly those memories remain and how fondly he still speaks of his school days. After leaving, David went on to build a successful career as an estate agent, and we were proud to hear how the foundation of his OO years has stayed with him throughout his life.
