Headed up by Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Kerry Wilkins, the assembly was constructed to give tell pupils who they can turn to for advice and help in their future careers.

Victoria Evans, Alumni Manager, spoke about the benefits of joining Oswestry Connect while pupils were still at school and how the community could help them to achieve their long-term career ambitions.

Pupils were told about real-life examples of how the mentoring programme has worked and they were given advice about how to make the most out of the opportunities to connect with Old Oswestrians who are willing to help the next generation find their feet in an increasingly turbulent world.

If you would like to offer advice, work experience or can give time to talk to our pupils, please let us know.
