Upper Sixth Leavers' Chapel

The Leavers’ Chapel Service is always an emotional milestone in the Oswestry School calendar, as pupils, parents and staff come together to mark the end of the Upper Sixth’s journey.

In this year’s moving service, leavers were presented with their Old Oswestrian ties and pins by OOS Chair, Mr Dan Munford, along with a copy of the Leavers’ Book — a lasting keepsake of their time at Oswestry.

With these gifts, they were officially welcomed as new members of the Old Oswestrian Society, joining a network of former pupils that spans generations.

Following the service, the Headmaster welcomed families and pupils onto the lawn for goodbye drinks in the summer sun — a fitting close to this chapter and the beginning of lifelong memories as part of the OO community.
