After leaving Oswestry David went to Hotel School in Switzerland and has spent the last 30 years in the hospitality industry, managing both in the UK and Switzerland. David then went on to owning his own bed and breakfast and restaurant on the Isle of Wight, and even appeared on Channel 4's 'Four in a Bed'!

His recently published book, ‘Confessions of a Waiter’, can be seen on his website www.davidwoodward.uk

The book has received forwards from Fred Sirieix and Jane Mcdonald.

David is holding a book launch at Oswestry Cricket Club, Morda Road, Oswestry, on 6 September at 6pm. There is free entrance for anyone who would like to attend, along with drinks and nibbles.
