The Keighley Cup is held in memory of former teacher Nigel Keighley who died following a mountaineering accident in Spain.
Thanks go to Oswestry Rugby Club for being such good hosts and to Adam Lloyd (1996-2011) for putting to gether a strong OO team who were narrowly defeated 41-50.
Many thanks to all the generous sponsors of the raffle. Over £800 was raised which will be split between the air ambulance and East Meru Community School in Tanzania where Nigel's wife Pat is a trustee and will be returning there in 10 days time. The school now has a sports field which is named after Nigel and where among other sports they play rugby!
