Founder's Dinner was a night to remember this year as Sir Ranulph Fiennes joined the party of Old Oswestrians, current parents and pupils, and current and former staff members as guest speaker.
The event was held in the Momentum Hall at School and it was a sell out with a waiting list for tickets.
Following the sumptuous three course dinner, Sir Ranulph Fiennes took to the stage to talk about his incredible life and career. Guests were able to ask Sir Ranulph questions at the end of his presentation and then he signed copies of his latest book, and books that guests had brought with them for signing.
The School Hymn, Gaude Plebs, was sang with gusto and then the new Old Oswestrian President, Naomi Gilchrist (1979-1987), offered the toasts.
From here the band played and the bar thronged and everyone had a jolly good time.
Here's to the next one in 2023!
