Founder's Day 2022: Sport

For the first time in many years on Founder's Day there was no driving rain or freezing winds and the sports took place on the Maes-y-Llan in almost balmy conditions.

Sadly there was no netball this year, but the Bog Run, hockey, and football all went ahead as usual.

Old Oswestrians were victorious in every match! The mixed hockey team beat School 4-2, the 1st XI football won 1-0, and the 2nd XI football won 4-2.

Thanks must go to the School for fielding excellent teams, and also Laura Kendall and Ed Ellis-Cooper for organising the Old Oswestrian teams.
